Sponsor a Child Amputee Today!

Hope For Every Child Program

Hope For Every Child is a sponsorship program in which sponsors can adopt a child amputee through Hope To Walk (HTW). This can ensure that the child receives a new prosthetic leg when needed at no cost for them or their family until they reach the age of 18. As a child with a prosthetic leg grows, they require a new, properly fitted prosthetic approximately every one to two years.

How it Works

HTW identifies children in need of sponsorship and shares their profiles, including photos, age, and background. Sponsors select a child and commit to an annual donation of $250 or a monthly contribution of $21 via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to HTW.

When the child requires a new prosthetic leg, they visit an HTW partner service provider, whose records indicate their sponsorship status. The service provider then notifies the HTW Coordinator, who verifies the sponsorship, authorizes the new prosthetic fitting.

Use of Donor Funds

While every effort is made to ensure donor contributions directly support the sponsored child’s prosthetic needs, there may be circumstances where a child does not require a new prosthetic each year. In such cases, funds will be allocated to the area of greatest need within Hope to Walk, ensuring that all donations continue to support the organization’s mission and goals of providing life-changing mobility solutions to amputees in need.
