Nelson Moise

Nelson is a 15 year old boy who was born with a congenital defect affecting his R leg. He was unable to walk for much of his life before getting a prosthetic leg. He was able to eventually obtain one but it had been badly broken and there was not anyone available who could fix it. He had been having difficulty using it until Hope To Walk gave him a leg in honor of Ken Cooper. When asked what he is most excited about after receiving his leg, he responds, “I am looking forward to going to school. Thank you for helping me.”

On behalf of Nelson and his family, Hope to Walk thanks you for your generous donation. It is only by the grace of God and help of others that we are able to accomplish this mission. Beyond giving the hope of physical walking, we pray to always be showing the spiritual Hope of walking in Christ. Because of your kindness, a life was forever changed. We pray that Nelson’s story has blessed you as you have blessed his and the family. We appreciate your gift and look forward to your continued partnership so we can continue giving Hope to Walk!
